Enterprise development

One of the true measures of success is the ability of businesses to make a meaningful impact on the lives of the communities in which they operate. At Builders, we take this responsibility seriously and have committed to develop the capacity of our local tradesmen. Our aim is to ensure that, by the end of 2016, 30 tradesmen from the communities around the Builders Superstores in Protea Glen, Tembisa, Evaton, Cosmo City and Vosloorus will be equipped with valuable business skills that will enhance their business operations and empower them to grow, develop and actively participate in the economy.

The Builders Superstore Tradesmen Empowerment initiative is a partnership between Black Suppliers, a recruitment company that has been instrumental in identifying and recruiting suitable tradesmen eligible for the programme and Leago Capital, a business consultancy that provides the business establishment, compliance and marketing interventions.
